During 1992 a significant investment program was started. This program resulted in the construction of a new industrial chemical complex incorporating leading technologies in terms of products and processes. This plant, occupying more than sixteen hundred acres of land is located north of Santiago next to the main chilean highway, which connects all major Chilean cities all along from the far north down to the far south.   

     The highest international standards regarding safe and reliable operation and environmental protection were considered in every single stage of the project. The main product lines include resins for coating industry, thermoset resins for fiber reinforced plastics, specialty chemicals for pulp and paper industry, auxiliaries for leather and textile industry, fine terpene aroma chemicals and crude tall oil derivatives.   

     Härting's commercial activities are widely increased by the indent business of the company, related to the promotion, sale and distribution of a variety of premium products manufactured by prestigious multinational foreign companies. Most of these products are sold to the major industrial segments such as mining, food, glass, ceramics, cosmetics, rubber & plastics, and explosives.   

     At the present time, focus is being placed in the northern hemisphere, and substantial efforts are driven to consolidate Härting's emerging position in the business of fine chemicals. Our success relies on the so called value of the product to the customer. Their suggestions involve many subjects from product selection to its safe final disposal.
