Resins and Binders
for Coatings
Härting
produces a broad range of raw materials and additives for the formulation
of solvent based and water borne coatings. Our current product mix satisfies
most of the current market requirements.
Alkyd Resins
This product group includes short, medium and long chain resins based on
fish oil, soybean oil, coconut oil, and tall oil fatty acids. It also includes
some modified resins such as water dispersible, high solids, epoxy esters,
silicone alkyds and urethane alkyds.
Maleic and Phenolic
Resins
A family of hard resins based on modified rosin esters for the formulation
of paints, varnishes, lacquers and printing inks.
Latex
A group of aqueous dispersions for the formulation of water borne paints
having an excellent stability, resistance to light aging and weather ability.
Our latex binders are designed for low viscosity, flexible, washable and
easy application coatings.
This product line is based
on copolymers and homopolymers of vinnyl acetate, butyl acrylate and styrene
monomers.
Epoxy Resins
We advance a basic liquid epoxy resin into higher epoxied equivalent weight
resins, which are further diluted in organic solvents to facilitate its
handling and blending at customer's place. These bisphenol-A-type epoxy
resins are widely used for corrosion resistant coatings, can and coil coatings
and miscellaneous metal primers.
Metal Dryers
A family of catalysts that ensure a complete dry out of the coating film.
The basic dryers are based on metallic octoates o calcium, cobalt, manganese
and zirconium. |
